| I'd like to take this opportunity to recommend BjM Promotions as your co-op / merchandising vendor partner. Bruce Miller has been working with UTStarcom for many years. However, since we began working together five years ago, he has transformed what was once the "black eye" of our marketing department into a simple task. Organizing our merchandising was one of the most difficult tasks that we faced. Bruce came in (on a Saturday much less) and we organized an inventory and re-ordering system, monthly usage limits, individual order approval process, monthly reporting of spending per item, and per sales person. Most importantly, he put our catalog up on the web which allows us 24/7 access and gives us the ability to make changes in real time. Our sales people now order well in advance of their needs, which allows us to avoid rush charges and expedited freight. I get to see and approve every order before it is shipped, and I always have access to monthly spending figures. As a result of this program, I am now completely "in the know", and it's absolutely great! |
